So the other day I was digging around for the official FC Barcelona social media accounts and figured I’d drop them here in case anyone else is looking too.
Both the men’s team and the Barça Femení have a massive online presence, and it’s honestly the easiest way to keep up with everything going on around the club and what they post day in and day out.
Alright, to keep it simple, I put together a full list of Barça’s official accounts with links and follower numbers.
BARÇA OFFICIAL SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS
The table below covers the main accounts for the FC Barcelona men’s team.
Platform | Handle/Link | Followers |
fcbarcelona | 120+ Million
@fcbarcelona | 140+ Million
X (Twitter) | @FCBarcelona | 50+ Million |
TikTok | @fcbarcelona | 60+ Million |
Youtube | FC Barcelona | 25+ Million |
@fcbarcelona | 280+ Thousands
Threads | FC Barcelona | 14+ Million |
Discord | FC Barcelona Official | 130+ Thousands |
Barça’s reach is insane.
Back in 2021, they had 400M+ followers across socials, making them one of the most-followed clubs on the planet.
BARÇA FEMENÍ OFFICIAL SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS
The Barça women’s team (Barça Femení) has its own official pages too, and millions follow them since they’re easily one of the best women’s teams out there.
Platform | Handle/Link | Followers |
@fcbfemeni | 7+ Million | |
X (Twitter) | @FCBfemeni | 1+ Million |
FCBfemeni | 2.5+ Million |
Barça Femení’s Instagram account and Facebook page are super active, with 10+ million followers and a 3.05% engagement rate, meaning fans are loving their posts…I mean, I personally do too, so yep!
You’ll pretty much find match highlights, photos from training and matches, player spotlights, and celebrations of their achievements, like the back-to-back Ballon d’Or wins or their 2021, 2023, and 2024 Champions League titles.
WHY FOLLOW ALL ACCOUNTS?
Each platform offers something unique.
For example…
On Instagram, you’ll see stunning photos and Reels of players like Lamine Yamal or Aitana Bonmatí.
X/Twitter is perfect for real-time updates, like lineups or transfer news.
YouTube has full match highlights and exclusive documentaries, etc…
While TikTok keeps it light with funny challenges and dance videos.
Barça Women’s accounts are just as exciting as the men’s accounts…pretty much sharing the same type of stuff except for the female audience.
A BIT OF THE HISTORY OF BARÇA’S ONLINE EXISTENCE
FC Barcelona, founded in 1899, and soon after that the club became a symbol of Catalan pride with the famous Camp Nou motto “Més que un club” which, if translated into English it means (More than a club).
Their social media dominance started growing in the 2010s, and by 2019, they overtook Real Madrid as the most-followed sports club globally.
Barça Femení, or Female became a professional section in 2015 and has since become a leader in women’s football, with a massive following thanks to equal promotion alongside the men’s team.
So despite a 2020 social media scandal involving burner accounts (yep,DRAMA!!!), the club’s digital presence has only grown.
So yeah, I guess now you know all the official Barça socials, including Barça Femení.
Feel free to bookmark this and follow Blaugrana wherever you hang out online the most.
